School for Creative Writers

Writing is work just like any other job.  The purpose of Author House Society is to give writers a writing society in which they can do their work on a daily basis and network with other writers.  It is important for writers to interact with other writers on a regular basis in order to stay motivated, consistent and habitual in their writings.  Writers need to be doing something with their talents everyday.  If you write daily your works will be sharp, clear, polished and re-writes will not be necessary. 

Upcoming writing classes starts on July 1, 2010 and on ends September 30, 2010.

It is up to every writer participating to make this workout for other writers.  Each writer will depend on other writers.  Author House Society is a group driven society and commitment is necessary for writers to join these classes.  These classes are only for serious people who want to really sell their works and make a living at fiction writing. 

Author House Society is an intensive writing and reading program.  There is no limit as to how many can participate in a group, but there will have to be at least 3 people per group.  If not, then workshops will be cancelled for the quarter.  Writers of Novels, Short Stories, Poetry, Stage Plays, Tele Plays, Screen Plays, Diaries, Memoirs, Journals, Autobiographies, and Biographies are all welcomed.

Author House Society is helping writers build careers in creative writing.

Literature/reading is very much a part of any author’s life.  There are so many authors dreaming and we believe it is necessary for authors to be advocates for other authors.   Our target is self-published authors, (see a list of self-publishing companies we support at the top of this page).  In order to support these authors, it is necessary for other authors to purchase books by self-published authors, go to their book signings, book readings and post comments on their web pages.  Author House Society authors/readers will let self-published authors know how much their works are appreciated.  We will post comments as if these authors are well-established authors, but will not be critiquing these authors work.  You will be reading for entertainment only.  You will write about what the story meant to you, how much you sympathized with the characters, how unpredictable the story was and so forth. 

Author House Society is a conference call run business. Allowing writers to be mobile and work in the privacy of their homes, coffee shops, cars, on beaches, etc.

Author House Society is seeking to represent authors all over the world.  The tools authors will need is an unlimited calling plan with long distance to be on the conference call, a computer with a word processor with rich text and connections to the internet for sending emails to others, researching literary agents and publishers, purchasing books, etc. 

For authors who will self-publish, an international internet browser is highly recommended and language translator software, so authors can sell their works in other contents, counties and languages.
